I am so happy and continue to be impressed with the service. Both Louie ( my puppy ) and I have both come so far. The training and commitment so crucial in results. I have gained confidence as a dog owner and Louie as a puppy now 8 1/2 months at 72 lbs. We have become a team and practice everyday. Juan gives suggestions and positive feedback. It’s a wonderful experience which I look forward to continued learning and being trained. So so happy! Happy puppy too! Good boy Louie! ….. he is smiling as well!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service of JPK9 Academy. When I first called them, I was totally distraught because my two male dogs had started fighting over our female that recently had puppies. When I got my third dog, Ozzie, I didn’t think there would be a problem because the male I already had was fixed. I was wrong and when they started fighting, I was devastated. I figured I would have to choose one and rehome the other out of love and concern for both of their safety. In just 2 1/2 weeks, Juan and his team have turned both dogs around. They used to be the best of buddies; Juan and his team are bringing them back to being buddies again. AND, they are training me too to know how to continue their great work. I recommend them to Anyone looking for excellent dog training. This was one of the BEST DECISIONS I have ever made!

This is review is long overdue, but much needed to express our gratitude. We are so grateful to have found Juan, Sarah and his family as our dog obedience and behavioral trainers. Our dog, Ace, a mix of Great Pyrenees and Husky, was struggling with destructive and disobedient behaviors that were causing a lot of stress and frustration for our family. From the moment we met Juan, it was clear that he was a skilled and experienced trainer who knew exactly how to help Ace overcome his challenges. One of the things that impressed us most about Juan was his ability to communicate effectively and work closely with our family to create a customized training plan for Ace. He took the time to listen to our concerns and understand Ace’s unique personality and behaviors, which allowed him to develop a training program that was both effective and personalized. Juan’s family-oriented approach also made us feel welcome and comfortable, and we could see that they truly cared about helping Ace become a trained and obedient member of our family. Another aspect of Juan’s training that was incredibly helpful was his expansive property, which provided the perfect environment for Ace to train and learn. With acres of open space and various obstacles, Juan was able to create a challenging and engaging training experience that kept Ace motivated and excited to learn. I also want to highlight how Juan helped us understand Ace’s needs better. He took the time to explain to us how dogs think and feel, and how certain behaviors can be linked to anxiety, stress, or other underlying issues. This knowledge was crucial in helping us empathize with Ace and understand why he was behaving the way he was. Juan’s expertise helped us become more patient and understanding with Ace, and we could see how much it benefited him in his training. In addition, Juan’s ability to identify and address the root cause of Ace’s behaviors was truly remarkable. He didn’t just focus on correcting the symptoms, but instead worked to understand what was driving those behaviors and address those underlying issues. This approach helped Ace become a more well-adjusted and confident dog, and we saw a significant improvement in his overall behavior and temperament. Overall, thanks to Juan’s hard work and dedication, Ace has made incredible progress and is now a well-behaved and obedient dog that we are proud to have as a part of our family. We would highly recommend Juan and his family to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dog obedience and behavioral trainer.

We called Juan after one of our dogs, Blaze (4-year-old GSD mix), progressively started to show more signs of fear/anxiety and aggression. Not only did Juan take his time to discuss his methods of training, he was also friendly and very knowledgeable. So, we went forward to schedule an evaluation at our home. He assessed everything from our interactions with our dogs, home environment, our needs, and challenges. After we discussed our concerns, Juan provided many suggestions and an individualized plan for us. We went forward with his one-on-one trainings as well as group classes/pack walks (which are super fun for all of us). He brings several different training tools and equipment to have us practice with. After just a private session and a few group classes/pack walks, we saw a huge improvement in Blaze’s behavior (as well as our other 2-year-old Husky, Rayne!). With Juan’s recommendations and guidance, Blaze improved overall with his obedience and fear. We continue to attend group classes because we learn something new every time and they are so much fun! We could not be more grateful for working with Juan. Juan is passionate, knowledgeable, communicative, and honest. I highly recommend JPK9 Academy to ANYONE who wants to effectively train their dogs, small or large, young or old!
